Donna Simpson

Donna Simpson, aka Victoria Hamilton, has always written, but it took some time to become a published author. Starting in romance writing, she wrote Regency romances and historical paranormal romances for various publishers. In 2012 she attained a lifelong goal, becoming a published mystery author with Berkley and then other publishers.

Currently she writes three series for Beyond the Page Publishing: two contemporary – the Vintage Kitchen Mysteries and Merry Muffin Mysteries both set in the States – and one historical mystery series set in Georgian England, the Lady Anne Mysteries.

She wrote a two book series set in Regency England: A Gentlewoman’s Guide to Murder and Some Touch of Madness.

She also writes mystery and other kinds of short stories, and had a short story published in the Malice Domestic anthology.

She loves animals, especially cats, and writing. A lifelong Londoner, Donna lives near Blackfriars Bridge, her favourite city landmark. She looks forward to writing stories set closer to home.
