As the owner of Hermit Creative, a boutique marketing and graphic design studio, Brenda has written, edited and designed marketing content for decades. In her spare time, she dabbles in fiction and poetry.
Recent writing adventures include:
- Two poems were selected for publication in the LWS anthology, Out of the Woods: Voices from the Forest City: Natus Mortuus and Watching A Man in A Retirement Home Parking Lot
- Editing and publishing the feminist fantasy Ladders to the Moon by Ruth Garrett
- Writing a blog for LWS titled Death of an Imposter, which also appeared in the Middlesex Banner (November 26, 2025)
- Co-writing the introduction and promo collateral for Out of the Woods: Voices from the Forest City
