Trina Brooks

Trina Brooks was born in, and still lives, in London, Ontario. On the road to her novel writing career, she made numerous stops along the way. She began with a Broadcast-Journalism diploma, working briefly in the field until she switched to acting. Her theatre career took her to Toronto, Canada and London, England. After returning to Canada, she began writing plays instead of performing in them and picked up a few awards along the way. Her plays, like her subsequent novels have strong historical themes. She is a history buff who is most interested in the twentieth century. She currently resides with her husband Jim who provides much inspiration as a retired police officer and two cats who have no sense of boundaries or respect for writing time.

Her Northern Ontario Mystery Series includes the novels: The Barren Hills of Creighton and A Killing in Copper Cliff.
