Emigrating from Scotland to Canada at the age of ten, Suzanne started writing short stories in high school. Having had several poems and short stories published while completing her BA in English Lit. from U of G, she took a break from writing to raise her three sons.
After furthering her education, Suzanne started her long career as an ESL teacher in London, Ontario. The quiet of the pandemic allowed Suzanne to resume her writing, which she is now doing full-time.
Her debut middle grade HAUNTED POND is available for pre-order, with the launch scheduled for March/25. Her debut picture book CALM DOWN COUNTING, published by Canada’s DCCED will be launched in winter/25, and Suzanne recently had a short story plus poems accepted by The New Canadian Stories Magazine.
Suzanne is presently writing book two of her HAUNTED trilogy. When she isn’t writing, she’s creating new memories with her husband and boys, her beautiful grandbabies, and at a campground – and if she’s lucky, all at the same time!
